The following resumes are examples that you may want to look at in terms of formatting. Both are combination resumes, but the first is template for a technologist resume (it will, however,give you an idea about the components of a resume). If you are writing a resume in response to a specific job posting, you may omit the "objective" heading.
Notice how both resumes employ power words (i.e. conducted, surveyed, processed, assisted, etc.) and how the bullets refer to specific information regarding duties, responsibilities, achievements, equipment/tools/technology used and so on.
